I hope Bairstow has been behaving himself better today. And it seems stupid for Yorkshire to produce such a batting paradise when a victory is needed and our bowling is rather weak - why?

Frankly, it seems crazy to prepare a wicket this flat under *any* circumstances!
So right, though there would be some logic to it if this were the last match and Yorkshire just needed to avoid defeat to finish top.
It would still be a rotten thing to do, though. (I speak in my personal capacity, not the ACS's.) This sort of thing is poison to the game.
